Exceptional

This is a newer hotel at SFO. We used the Park and Fly. Had a runway view room. The room was wonderful. Ordered the Market Cafe room service which was so great. Everything about our stay was wonderful. My only complaint the pillows were way too soft for me. But otherwise perfect.

Great airport hotel

Very convenient location right on the tram line connecting all terminals and the rental car terminal. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The main restaurant was superb. The quality of the food and service equalled any fine dining restaurant.

Perfect place to stay, the night before a flight!

We stay in the corner suite at the Grand Hyatt SFO at the end of our annual vacation to the west coast because it takes all of the stress away from catching a plane the next day. The hotel is still very new. The room is appointed with luxury everywhere you look, with a sitting room to get the luggage situated, and a huge bathroom, with a soaking tub and separate shower. We turn the rental car in a day early, check into the room, get everything set for the flight out in the morning, order a delicious meal from the restaurant, watch a movie, soak in the tub, enjoy the view of the airplanes from the picture windows, get a good night's sleep and wake up relaxed and ready travel day, just steps from the airtrain that takes us to the terminal.

Transit hotel

Convenient transit hotel at SFO for early international flights. You will not be disappointed. Rooms were quiet so you can actually sleep for an early next day departure. Have a pleasant stay. Enjoy..

No Top Sheet at the Inn

Slept poorly due to lack of a top sheet. The AC would not cool the room sufficiently to need a comforter. Very expensive for such a poor sleeping experience. Otherwise. It was a nice hotel with good service. Obviously great location since you can take the train to your terminal.

Quiet pre-flight overnight

Taking a 6:00 AM flight East, we needed a hotel closest to SFO instead of the usual nearby hotels that shuttle you to the airport every 15 or 30 minutes. Grand Hyatt is the only hotel in the SFO complex with an airtrain stop at the hotel. Recommend Long-term parking…. half the price of the hotel parking. 10-12 minutes from our car to the hotel via SFO Airtrain. Great room with runway view…. very quiet as promised. Next morning only 10 minutes from our room to Terminal 1 via Airtrain. No lines at security at 4:45 AM. We could have left the room 20 minutes later. Grand Hyatt more expensive than top offsite hotels but we’ll worth it if you’re catching an early morning flight.

Perfect location for traveller's but not a first choice

Stayed here a few times over the last 2 years, great to catch early flights or late night arrivals but I wouldn't go out of my way if I didn't need to. The food is poorly made and your getting the same basics if you stayed in a similar hotel off site of the airport. Don't forget the fees for being on the airport, you have to request them in your quote.

Amazing property and hotel staff

My husband and I booked a short staycation here as a way to get out of our house while I was recovering from surgery and otherwise unable to travel. We both love travel and flying, which has brought us to this hotel many times since it opened, so we asked if we could book the presidential suite for a two night stay to watch planes and spend some time visiting the airport museum and other lesser-known attractions at SFO. Aurora from the front desk really made our stay unforgettable. She helped us book the presidential suite and personally oversaw the room setup. She even went above and beyond and put some personalized touches on our room based on some of our previous visits. They made sure we had a truly memorable experience, I cannot say enough how fantastic this hotel is, all because they have such wonderful people working there. The property itself is gorgeous and the staff, from the front desk, to the bar, to the restaurant, and housekeeping all really make it an amazing place to stay.
